5TH VETTYS DETAILS

The 5th Vettys will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C., and will be streamed live on Facebook at 7:30 PM EST. 

WHO ATTENDS

Influential members of the global community will join us at the 5th Annual Veterans Awards from all over the country and the globe to celebrate public service at its best within the military community and areas in which the impact of public service saves lives and ensures a sustainability of community health.

Red Carpet Arrivals: 6PM

Presentation: 7:30PM

Vetty Ball: 9:15PM 

RED CARPET

6:00PM: More than 300 feet of red carpet will be rolled out for our nominees, presenters and guests. The community will step out in their finest to represent the best of America. While the red carpet will be red, the color of the night will be diversity. Both ladies and gentlemen alike will dazzle us in bold colors as they walk the carpet.  

CEREMONY

7:30PM: The presentation of the 5th Annual Veterans Awards is scheduled for 90 minutes. All nominated categories will be presented for their tireless work in public service. The winner of each category will be announced the night of the 5th Vettys. The program will consist of speeches and entertainment in celebration of diversity and the unity of our global forces.  

VETTY BALL 

Vetty Ball is the official after party of the 5th Annual Veterans Awards. The event will host nominees, winner & stars immediately after the presentation of 5th Vettys. The exclusive ball will feature a champagne dinner designed in the spirit of our colorful nation.

The Vetty Ball will be held at the D.C. city club atrium next door to the Warner Theatre.  

TICKETS

All silver level tickets will be available at will-call or can be picked up on the ticket distribution date that will be provided to our guests. All other levels can be mailed upon request, picked up at will-call, and or at the designated date that will be provided to our guests.

ABOUT THE VETTYS

The Veterans Awards was founded in 2015 to create a platform for veteran service organizations to be recognized for their tireless work within the veteran space. The event is also a tool to bridge the divides between the veterans community and other powerful communities globally.  

MEDIA

All members of the media are required to submit media credential requests by January 14, 2020. Approved members of the media may gain access to the red carpet arrivals, ceremony, Vettys ball and backstage. Media credentials and outlet approvals are required prior to January 18, 2020 in order for the members of the press to gain access to the 5th Annual Veterans Awards.

One of the most enjoyable side benefits of a VETTY nomination is the nominee reception annually hosted for our nominees in all categories. We look forward to your joining us to receive your official certificate of nomination and to meet our board members and your fellow nominees. The location of the nominee reception will be disclosed to confirmed guests 48 hours prior to the event. 

The reception is exclusive to the nominees of the 5th Annual Veterans Awards.

TRANSPORTATION

Ground transportation will be provided to all nominees who are not local to the Washington, D.C. Metro area.
