“No wrongs have ever been righted by riots and civil disorders. A sniper is only a coward, not a hero; and an uncontrolled, uncontrollable mob is only the voice of madness, not the voice of the people.”-Bobby Kennedy’, April 5, 1968

In celebration of the peaceful transfer of power and, in a spirit of bipartisanship and unity, leaders from entertainment, politics, business, the military, media, non-profit and community organizations from across the country will attend the Vettys Inaugural Ball an exclusive formal Gala on January 20, 2021 In Washington, D.C.

We The Purple is the beginning of a journey pioneered in hope, unity and optimism for this beloved country of ours. It will be a bi-partisan celebration of the 59th Presidential Inauguration with respect and honor for the office of presidency and our fellow Americans.

Let's not make history with violence, protests and hate. Let's make history by choosing to be One Nation, indivisible. Though we may be physically distant from each other at this time, we have the opportunity to open a window in this wall of hate. We're only as divided as we choose to be, and only we have the power to change that.

In the aftermath of moving our official Inaugural Ball to a virtual event, we have received countless requests from our guests and supporters for our team to consider an alternative platform for the most influential members of our community to come together the night of the 59th Presidential Inauguration.

We The Purple Inaugural Dinner will be organized for a small group of bi-partisan influencers to come together in unity at an undisclosed location. Location will only be disclosed to confirmed guests.

More importantly, the dinner will gather those whose commitment to solving our country's greatest problems is unyielding. This is a bi-partisan event and influential guests from both parties will be in attendance as a gesture of unity, which is the American way of life.

Social distancing guidelines will be enforced.

Please note that there will be extensive security measures in place.

Donations benefit our COVID-19 Recovery Project.

"The fact that everyone is tired, weary and frustrated is not a state of mind. The medicine for our wounds is right here among us. One can find it in our neighborhoods and schools; by pulling over - all at once - for the siren we see behind our cars; you can find it in fellowship; you can find it in public servants and in the truth we tell one another; you can find it in the 18 year old who will never know what it’s like to live under the free American sky because long ago he gave his life for your freedom; and you can find it almost everywhere, all around us if we open our hearts and are willing to truly listen to each other."

Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection."-Abraham Lincoln

A night of celebration and elegance designed to bring together the most influential and diverse leaders of our nation. The Vettys Inaugural Ball will benefit the  COVID-19 Recovery Project. VIP guests will be feted to a delicious champagne dinner, surrounded by exquisitely laid lush green velvet, and breathtaking sparkling flowers. The gala will honor our veterans and service men and women in recognition of their tireless dedication to serve, protect, and defend our great nation.

The theme of this year’s Vettys Inaugural Ball - “Ties That Bind US” - symbolizes the fundamental concept of “One Team, One Fight” that our service members live by as they bear arms for not only the red states or the blue states - but for the United States of America.

“When we immigrated to America more than 3 decades ago, the doors of opportunity, acceptance and tolerance opened before us. I have since lived the American dream. I believe we will once again come together at hockey games divided only by the color of our jerseys - not the color of our states - That’s the America I know, said Assal Ravandi, President of the Academy of United States Veterans

The ball will be an evening of celebration and elegance designed to bring together the most influential and diverse leaders of our nation. With a special toast to our troops, this cosmopolitan soirée promises to display the most momentous traditions and rituals of prestigious military balls. Just minutes from the White House, our distinguished black tie event will be filled with enchanting attire sure to turn heads throughout the night; an experience too remarkable to miss.
“The Vettys Inaugural Ball is a celebration of the continuing role our veterans will play in influencing the future of our nation,” added Assal Ravandi

VIPs walk 100 feet of red carpet at 5:30PM EST, greeted by military officials, celebrity hosts and influential veterans.

The red carpet arrivals will be live streamed on multiple social media platforms, sharing this historic and memorable evening with fellow Americans across the globe.  Access to the red carpet will be granted to VIP guests and members of media with approved credentials.

We invite veterans, active duty and their families from each branch of our military to join forces with us in hosting a night to remember for our American community at large.

Our goal is to truly celebrate this momentous occasion where we as a nation came together every four years and make history so we can proudly live up to the promise of our Pledge of Allegiance - 'One nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
