WASHINGTON, D.C. | Academy of United States Veterans (AUSV) and The Check-6 Foundation successfully funded 40 veterans and their families with emergency funds through their COVID-19 Recovery Project.
AUSV and Check-6 Foundation partnered back in April 2020 with the goal to help as many veterans who saw a significant decrease in income or loss of income completely, due to COVID-19.
During the duration of the project, the recovery project helped fund over 40 veterans and their families in need across the Nation.
Due to overwhelming success and additional financial support, the Covid-19 Recovery Project will resume on October 13, 2020. Those in need can apply at https://www.ausvfoundation.org/recovery.
AUSV is best known for hosting the Annual Veterans Awards (also known as the VETTYS)- with this year being the 6th Annual Veterans Awards focusing on Mental Health.
