Casey Affleck, an expert in his profession has starred in high ranking movies like Good Will Hunting, Gone Baby Gone, and Ocean’s Eleven, made it his priority to support our American veterans on January 20, 2019 at the Annual Veterans Awards (VETTYS®). For those who have not yet had the chance to attend the celebratory ceremony, the VETTYS® was created with the goal of bringing together our veterans community while creating a positive space to be utilized as an accountability platform.

Active duty and veterans from across the nation land in one spot to shine a light on the good work that their community is doing. Academy of United States Veterans (AUSV) emphasizes on upholding the exceptional side of veterans and with the help of the notable talent, like Casey Affleck. With his help, AUSV and its partners was able to share this message of “acknowledge our victories” with those who not only who attended but also joined by observing the VETTYS® live on Facebook.

It is thanks to influential members of our society like Casey Affleck that organizations have the opportunity to be lead by their unique and significant platform.

On that night, his presence brought authenticity to the stage. Casey successfully joined forces with members of our military at the 4th Annual Veterans Awards and we hope that many others can follow his lead.
