ABOUT THE VETTYS
The Veterans Awards, also known as the Vettys, is an annual award ceremony presented by the Academy of United States Veterans. The awards honor members of the veteran community in the United States in various categories. The 7th Annual Veterans Awards will be the second chapter of our mental health epidemic campaign that surrounds many of our military and civilian families.
Art forms have a special power that leave lingering sensations that spark a flame and create a swirl of enraptured emotions inside our hearts. Throughout different points in life we all experience this, and there are certain moments where we are captivated by a particular work of art. It might be at the very moment when we set foot in a museum and see something that immediately catches our attention. It could be that moment when we feel magically awed by a beautifully carved character in a film, or perhaps when we see the elegant and balletic movement in the performing arts. Whatever it is, and whatever form it takes, art takes a dominant role in shaping our world.
IMPACT OF ART
With much impact made by artists, art continues to help the audience address social issues and rethink what actually matters in life. It encourages people to experience an alternate side of reality they have not yet fully comprehended before. It expands our consciousness and allows understanding for what is going on in the world.
