CASEY AFFLECK

Academy Award®-winning actor, CASEY AFFLECK, is an accomplished and striking performer who has established himself as an actor, writer, filmmaker, and principal of Sea Change Media. Affleck starred in Kenneth Lonergan’s Manchester by the Sea, which earned him an Academy Award®, a Golden Globe Award®, and over 40 regional critics’ awards, amongst other accolades, for Best Actor. Andrew Dominik’s The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, garnered him Oscar®, Golden Globe®, and SAG Award nominations. Affleck’s first feature film role was supporting Nicole Kidman in Gus Van Sant’s To Die For. He worked again with Van Sant on Good Will Hunting, and later Gerry, which Affleck also co-wrote. Additional credits include Out of the Furnace, opposite Christian Bale; Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar; Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone; Steven Soderbergh’s Oceans trilogy; Triple 9, opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor and Kate Winslet;

Disney's The Finest Hours; and David Lowery’s A Ghost Story and Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, both opposite Rooney Mara, and The Old Man and the Gun, opposite Robert Redford and Sissy Spacek. On the stage, Affleck appeared in the West End debut of Kenneth Lonergan’s “This Is Our Youth”. Affleck wrote and directed Light of My Life, which follows a father and daughter living on the outskirts of a society destabilized by a deadly pandemic. Under the banner SEA CHANGE MEDIA, Affleck looks to develop bold, authentic, smart content through an exclusive first-look production deal with Amazon Studios, shining a light on underrepresented voices and stories with a philosophy of inclusivity and collaboration.
